We can also do custom programing, mobile development and guidance for computer security issues. While no project is too small, our network of designers, programers and system administrators means we can handle large projects as well. Freedom's Run
Freedom’s Run is a “Grand Idea” born in a small shop in Shepherdstown, West Virginia. An idea was born to put on an event that brought awareness of the health needs of the citizens in fighting obesity, promoting outdoor activity; and in the process discovering the rich history of the area….a Race for Health and Heritage. The beneficiaries of the race are the “Wild and Wonderful Trails for Every Child” project and The Washington’s Way West Heritage Alliance. The Eastern Area Health Education Center is our non-profit partner to help us achieve our bold goals.
Tom Ausherman 5 Memorial Mile Run
The first Tom Ausherman 5 miler was held in August of 1988 and was won by Tim Cook of Chambersburg. The race was developed by the Tom Ausherman memorial committee designed to honor Tom Ausherman who died following a 2 mile Hagerstown Run for Fun race held at Hagerstown Junior College on June 2, 1987. Tom Ausherman was on of the founding fathers of the Chambersburg Road Runners and served as Vice President of the Club for many years. He was also very active in the Marine Corps League and was named Marine of the year in the state of Pennsylvania in 1983.
Carroll Valley Borough
The Borough has excellent recreational facilities, including Carroll Commons, the Borough park; Ranch Trail Park, located in the Ranch Section; development possibilities from donated lots for future "mini-park" or "vest pocket park" facilities; three man-made lakes, two of which are open to the public for passive recreation and fishing. Among privately owned facilities are: a ski resort with several ski lifts, beginner to advanced trails, a lodge, a motel, and a swimming pool; also, an eighteen hole golf course including a motel and clubhouse.
CASA River Century

CASA stands for the Court Appointed Special Advocate Program, which works with abused and neglected children after the child is removed from their home.Trained CASA volunteers work directly with the judge appointed to the child’s case; as well as the child, their family, neighbors and school to recommend and find a safe and permanent home for the child.

JFK 50 Mile

The JFK 50 Mile was first held in the spring of 1963. It was one of numerous such 50 mile events held around the country as part of President John F. Kennedy's push to bring the country back to physical fitness.

When Kennedy was assassinated in November of 1963, most of these events were never held again. The one here in Washington County, MD changed it's name from the JFK 50 Mile Challenge to the JFK 50 Mile Memorial in 1964. The JFK 50 Mile in Washington County, MD is the only original JFK 50 Mile Challenge event to be held every year since.

James F. Lincoln Arc Welding Foundation

The James F. Lincoln Arc Welding Foundation, created in 1936, is the only organization in the United States solely dedicated to educating the public about the art and science of arc welding. Formed when the arc welding industry was in its infancy, the Foundation is now in its seventh decade of publishing educational texts and granting cash awards to recognize technical achievements.

Sole Challenge 24 Hour Race

The Sole Challenge 24 hour race will be a premier running event hosted by The Runner’s Sole running specialty store. For those runners not quite up to the 24 hour Challenge, there is also a 6 & 12 hour option. All races will begin at 10am. The Sole Challenge has runners touring Norlo Park located in Fayetteville, PA.

Josh Bokee for Alderman
As a resident of the City of Frederick, Josh has rolled up his sleeves for us, working hard to help our community.

Josh volunteers for the United Way and the Mental Health Association of Frederick to help those most in need. Serving on the City Planning Commission, Josh has been a champion of our neighborhoods, making decisions that will both protect and expand our investments citywide. Josh has worked together with city police, staff and fellow residents to implementa local crime prevention initiative in which Josh was recognized for his work with a Maryland Governor's Crime Prevention Award.
